KJHS Jazz Band Members and Parents:

 

     It is hard to believe that we are near the end of the 2007-2008 school year!  I would like to take a moment and thank all of the parents for your support!  You are the reason we have bee so successful this year!  We still have two performances before the end of the year.  One of the highlights will be on Thursday, May 8, 2008.  We have been selected to perform at the Governor’s Art Show in Columbus, Ohio.  We will play at the State Office Tower, 30 East Broad Street at 10:45 AM.  After our concert, we will observe a rehearsal of the Ohio State University Jazz Band on the OSU Campus.  It will be a very exciting and rewarding experience for all of us!

     Also, I am including information on the Miami Valley Jazz Camp this summer.  Please let me know if you are interested.  There have been several Kings Students that have gone in the past.

       Next Friday, May 2nd will be our last full rehearsal.  Tuesday, May 6th will be our last day for sectionals.  HAVE A WONDERFUL SUMMER!  PLEASE, GO OUT AND HEAR SOME LIVE MUSIC!!!
